We started sponsoring Israel in August 2008. He is 9 years old and lives in Nkunya. Israel has lost both of his parents and is cared for by a good Samaritan in his village who is not related to him. He was brought to our attention by the nurses from the clinic in Hohoe. Israel is underweight and under sized for his age due to recurrent health problems. We support Israel through providing food, paying for his education as well as health care and medication.
